Richard A. Dorfman, Chairman
Mr. Dorfman is the founder and Managing Director of Richard Alan, Inc., a private
investment and advisory firm specializing in media and information services. He
assumed his responsibilities as Chairman of T3i Group in August, 2008. Mr. Dorfman
previously served as Senior Vice President of mergers and acquisitions for Jefferies
& Company, and as Director of Valuation Services and an Investment Banker at Broadview
Associates. He has been a director of Curious Pictures Corporation and Proxy Monitor,
Inc. Mr. Dorfman is a graduate of Columbia University and the Leonard N. Stern School
of Business at New York University.
James E. Heard
Mr. Heard has served as the Chief Executive Officer of Institutional Shareholder
Services and Proxy Monitor, Inc., which acquired ISS in 2001. He has over 25 years
of experience working with institutional investors on corporate governance issues
and has been a journalist, nonprofit executive and university lecturer, having served
as an adjunct professor at Georgetown University’s School of Business. Mr. Heard
is a graduate of Harvard College and The George Washington University School of
Law and is a member of the Bar Association of the District of Columbia.
James R. Flinton
Mr. Flinton is the Chief Executive Officer of T3i Group, a position he assumed in
September, 2009. He was previously the Vice President of Customer Care at Avaya,
Inc. where he also served in senior positions responsible for Supply Chain, M&A
Integration and IT Applications. He also served as Vice President and Chief Information
Officer at Lucent Technologies Enterprise Networks. Mr. Flinton is a graduate of
Syracuse University and the Advanced Management Program at The Fuqua School of Business
at Duke University.
Robert C.S. Monks
Mr. Monks is a prominent real estate developer and entrepreneur. He has been the
Chairman of the Board of both Institutional Shareholder Services and Atlantic Bank,
NA. He also served on the Housing and Urban Development Team as part of the 2009
Presidential Transition. He is currently a director of Maine Today Media, Inc.,
Gulf of Maine Research Institute and The Sprague Corporation. Mr. Monks attended
Duke University and is a graduate of the University of Southern Maine. He has also
attended George Mason University’s School of Conflict Resolution.
